When Dexter checked his voicemail we clearly hear Rita telling him that she had forgotten her ID. So for all you "Dexter fans" this also means that Rita's flight was not delayed either.   • guest1030 : correction: Rita was killed because she came back to get her cellphone. The Trinity killer killed her in the same way he did the 1st victims of his three stage crimes that he had been doing for 30 years. This may be an issue when the show starts becasue they will figure out that she was the only victim. he died after this at the hands of dexter and therefore, couldn't commit the other 2 murders. This will be suspicious.
